Why won't Y2K+ L36's fit 1995-1999?

Default Why won't Y2K+ L36'* fit 1995-1999?

Just wondering why the Y2K L36 and L67 won't interchange with 1995-1999? Is due to the motor mounts? If so couldn't the motor mounts be changed? I'm talking like the Y2K+ Bonneville L36/L67 swapping into a 1995-1999 Bonneville.

One can always put things in different spots. The 2K L36 will fit you would just need motor mounts, and locations to secure all the misc. junk that comes with an engine.
