Ricers method of calculating horsepower gains :
Installed component Horsepower gained
Intake Tube with Filter 50
Adding a Mega-tip (kazoo) to an existing Muffler 25
Mega-tipped Muffler 50
Mega-tipped Chrome Muffler 75
Fiberglass Spoiler 50
Aluminum Shopping-Cart Spoiler 100
L.E.D. lights in the windshield washer nozzles 25
Racing stickers 50
Japanese Racing Stickers which you have no clue what it means 75
Racing stickers that cover nearly the entire window(*) 75
Racing stickers including a SUPER-STREET sticker 100
Shaving your stock recessed license plate holder then hanging your license plate at an angle by a cheesy bracket 25
Changing you dash lights to Blue 25
Installing a new speedometer to read the larger numbers in KPH instead of MPH to look faster 25
Lowering the car'* suspension too low to clear speed bumps 50
Changing the stock front and rear clips 50
Changing the stock and rear clips and leaving them painted primer 100
Installing really fast turn signal flashers 200
I think this should be stickied so we will know what we are up against

Forgot one -
Adding a fake Blow off valve to your exhaust tip - instant 150hp
I knew a kid (I no longer talk to) that though his coffee can and "cold" air intake on his '89 Prelude added about 50 HP. He tried to say he had a dyno sheet to prove it, i asked him to show me it and he said he lost it.

Im not sure if any of you have wasted your time watching this show but this morning i did and that is only because they had some mustangs in it racing aganst the ricers. any way this guy on there with a tipical ricer car has i would say about 40000 + into an old integra and all knids of engine mods but what do you see for a CAI or Rice pipe a pipe with a filter and no heat sheld or box what so ever and it even looked like one of those aem pipes so its possible the crappiest filter on the market and preathing realy warm air
