Default Car Comparisons!

I don't plan on buying a new car anytime soon, but when it does come time I have a few choices on my mind.

2000-2005 Chevy Impala: I love these, they are roomy, stylish, simple cars, and the build quality seems good as I have yet to ride in any with squeaks or rattles.

2001 Olds Aurora 4.0: Nicely styled cars, v8 engine, cheap resale, but I have heard of build quality issues, much more than impala, also smaller interior than impala.

1998-1999 Olds Aurora: I drove one awhile ago in a parkign lto at work, seemed liek a really nice car, very solid. The only thign I didn't like were some cheap interior parts (material coming off pillars, steering controls, etc)

2000 Lexus ES300 : Yes, they are very expensive still, but I really like them!

I agree with you on the Impalas. You can never go wrong with a simple design. I'd buy one as a next car, too.

The 2001+ Auroras did NOT have the v8. The v8 was only available from 95-99.

The 2001+ got the Shortstar v6.

Incorrect. 01+ did have the option of the 4.0, they are just much, much more scarce.

2.Solid and IMP as safe as the bonnie
3.Stylish and clean
