Default Pdad made it safely.....and FAST.

He just called me from downtown Albany, Oregon. He left Everett WA this morning. Safe and sound, I'll be meeting him at KOA in a couple hours

Normally, Everett WA to here is an ALL DAY trip. NORMALLY.

He made it all the way from Vancouver in 2 days.

2 days
It'* a 5 hr drive from the border.
.....would have taken him about 8 hrs to get to the border.
Hopefully the border crossing doesn't take more than 1 1/2 hrs in the line-up.
That doesn't count pee breaks.

My car is all packed and the 4 of us are ready to roll.
Good thing the trunk is large because it'* full of all the necessities....like 20 pairs of shoes, lawn chairs, pillows, umbrella, cooler, 5 cases of pop, 6 suitcases, curling irons, hair dryers,.......
Damn....no room for my car jack or toolbox. ...tucked away a couple of bottles of fuel octane booster and a fire extinguisher.

Got some special gifts too for our hard working organisers.

See you all on Thursday......if the Federales don't get me.

Don't forget to pull your wheel speed sensors if you go to the track

And if you do don't put it to the floor right at the start or you'll be hanging in a cloud of smoke for a second or so. If you can do a practice launch or two to see how much throttle to use without decimating what could be a good 60'. About the time you get out of the box (1-2 car lengths) then you can put er down all the way and say hello to higher mph'*, and lower e.t.'*.

And if you can trick the ELC you'll be even better off -no doubt you should have no problem finding people to sit/stand in the trunk for a minute -then pull the fuse.
