I got a carfax on the 2006 Grand Prix GT I was going to buy, and I see there were no accidents, but it does have a listed recall.
The infamous "Manufacturer Safety recall issued Recall #2014350 UNINTENDED IGNITION KEY ROTATION"

How do I get GM to fix the ignition?

I got a Carfax on the Chrysler 200, the same one that I called and talked to a barely speaking English guy, and I clearly asked if it had been in any accidents, or had any structural damage, he clearly said "no, no accidents".

Now I find out is was a Commercial owned/titled vehicle, and that it was damaged.

So they knew it had damage done to it that could make it unsafe to drive, yet they lie to me about it when I ask, isn't that breaking the law by lying about something as serious as that?

I am sure you can complain, but you have nothing in writing from him saying it was accident free. I guess he thinks he can BS his way though life on phone..IDK.
In Canada, lean documentation searches and any accident declarations have to be provided before sale of vehicles.

2003 Acura MDX - Great Cars For Sale By Owner!! (I pulled a maintenance history and autocheck- it is below, long but very positive read)

I know SUV off the table and I am not thrilled as this is a 2003, but it is in VA and one owner (spent its entire life in one city in VA) and only serviced at Acura Dealer- always the same dealer except last service. The only issue I see is no timing belt replacement which is due at 100k- unless last service was timing belt (no description). If you could get this at 5k- might provide you a very nice, hassle free ride and allow you to spend your time doing other things than keeping a GM running:

Wow they had that thing in for maintenance like clockwork, impressive!
I see a recall on the passenger air bag inflator, sounds like it would be covered and cost me nothing though.

Only bad thing is that it is a tad over what I was hoping to pay, I have been putting in job apps, but still have not heard anything yet, and if I get a car and the taxes, title, tags, and all come to right at 7,100.00 total, then I am left with only 13k in the bank, which won't lest long when my total living expense is 1,300 a month.
I really do not want to spend every penny of that either, I was hoping to leave like 5k in for emergencies in case I get a job and it does not work out, or for real emergencies..
Also, that thing is like 6hrs from me, and the only way I could get my bro to go with me is if he could afford to take like 2 days off, and I payed for him, his wife, and his daughter go to the beach on vacation.
And as much as I'd love to do that for them, I really cannot afford to.
