It's not a photoshop. It actually happened. But probably more like 5-7 years ago. The LaserJet division used to be in Boise, and I know several people that transferred to and from there. It's a well known story around HP, and this one is MILD compared to some of the equipment that comes in for service.

"Hi Help desk, There seems to be a squeaking sound coming from my printer"

Bandit and I's other brother worked for a cable company back in NJ. They used to see all sorts of nasties come back in the converter boxes... especially from the "good" areas of the state.

BillBoost37 06-14-2007 08:43 AM

Got proof that another brother exists?

I can also attest that this is not a photoshop. My entire career has been in the copier/MFP industry. Over the past 20 years, I have seen some pretty interesting things happen to printers/copiers (mice, snakes, frogs, jelly donuts, and one very nice looking paper jam removed from a machine with a broken glass on a college campus - I'll leave that to your imagination).

10 years in the industry and I've yet to pull a butt shot outta the fuser....or encounter a broken glass from same...

Had a machine in a girls sorority, tech for that account told me that they used the pull out paper drawer for a ladder to reach the shelf above it....

I have cleaned many mice carcasses off stuff, nasty!

It's rare, but does happen. Hopefully when your turn comes, it's enjoyable.
