The officer was very nice about it. He said that there was nothing wrong with my driving, he just wanted to talk about my muffler. He didn't have a problem with it, but somebody else might some time and actually write me a ticket for the amount indicated. I think he was just jeleous :D

what have you got on there exactly?

Sounds like its tome to go to court. What was his reason in particular????

I've just got a fart cannon my buddy had laying around in his garage. The official reason I was pulled over was because the exhaust was aparantly too loud. I wouldn't be able to fight it if I had gotten a ticket either. According to WI state statute, any modification that amplifies an exhaust system is illegal.

BTW, when posting pictures of tickets, make sure to block your license number...D.L.number clearly showing there...useful info...

Fixed. Thanx. I knew I would forget something.

No offense to anyone who has one but if this is the case then Harleys should be included! They are louder than most loud cars give or take a few, and I don't know anyone who ever got a ticket for the loud pipes of one. I think tickets like those should not even be thought of unless someone is complaining about it. If there are no complaints then it's not a disturbance. You wern't revving the pistons out of it when you got pulled over were you? :D

Sadly, there are laws to protect motorcyclists' rights for loud exhausts.

Laws claim a loud car exhaust is noise pollution, yet motorcycles aren't?

Some modified motorcycles are SO loud, that if they rev them up, you could easy drown out a top fuel dragster. :x

Take off the stickers on your car and all of a sudden your exhaust will be fine. You're drawing attention that isn't necessary. I don't remember anyone getting an illegal exhaust ticket. Its not illegal to change your muffler.

So does the Flowmaster 50 State Leagal mean I could fight an exhaust ticket? I am just asking cause where I am I have a friend with a loud Cavilier that got a ticket or two for the rice can exhaust.
