Yeah, I agree.
Personally I think it'* inviting political vandals.

There'* a guy in St. Cloud, MN here who'* had his Bush/Cheney sign stolen over 20 times in the past 6 weeks.

I think the point is more of the people with the yard signs wanting to show their support and tell the whole world who they're voting for. I usually ignore them. There'* one yard here local who has more than 20 bush/cheney signs littering their yard.

i agree. that reminds me, a month ago on the news, an older woman had her car keyed with anti-kerry slogans because she had a Kerry bumper sticker in her back window. It was a hella nice Caddy CTS too! What are people thinking?! :?

But then again, thats the problem, they arn't....

They are just used to show people who you support, nothing more. I guess all it'* good for though is splitting the country in half.

Yep, the same reason most of us would wear a shirt or hat or drive a car with "Pontiac" on it. We like it.

And for the truly undecided, ignorant, uninformed voters (and I'm sure there are plenty across the U.*.)... they just might remember (and mark off) that last name that they saw in print, as already mentioned.
