Blown Head Gasket??
Mom'* Grand Am. She told me the low coolant light came on. There is no coolant in the overflow. I checked the oil, and found all this ****.
There was none on the dipstick, but it is all over the springs etc. under the valve cover...

What year is it and what engine??
If it'* the Quad 4, then I'm going with head gasket.
If it'* the 3100, then it'* likely the lower intake gaskets.
No matter what, flush that coolant!
If it'* the Quad 4, then I'm going with head gasket.

It'* the 3100. So oil change/coolant flush for sure, and then fix the culprit gasket...is there a possibility the motor has been like this for too long and it'* too late for fixin'?

Definately don't drive it till the oil is flushed THOROUGHLY. Can you pull the valve covers and douse the rockers really good with as much cheap oil as you can get?

I remember Captin talking about that GA before and I'm pretty sure it a 3100...
Intake gaskets Bud... Get some really cheap wal mart oil or something with a filter... Dump that oil and install fresh oil... Let it run a few ninutes... You guys need to rip the intake off and replace the lower gaskets..... The rockers and pushrods will have to be removed, be careful as the pushrods are diffrent lengths for the intake and exahust sides.... So keep them in order...
