Lets just say I got a killer deal on this and leave it at that. Been wanting a OBD1 scanner for a while, and now I have one. And how.

I'm on CL every other day. Most of the time there'* nothing. Every now and then, I find a gem. Found a valve job kit for $150 a while back, didn't have the cash or I would have bought it.

Hahahahaha!. At least I'm hoping you meant it the way I took it RJ.

But with the traffic Dan see'* through his garage, I'm sure it wont be a conversation piece anytime soon. Looks to be in immaculate shape Dan. Must have been a very soft landing when it fell off that truck.

Yup, just messing around, but I really would like one. I don't plan on ditching OBD I any time soon.

I love the fact when this came out, the cars on the instruction booklet cover were brand new.
Is that screen green because it ran off of uradium?

All kidding aside thats a great find.

The only draw back I'm seeing right now is it seems to only be compatible to 1999, don't seem to be any upgrades after that. I'll have to plug it in to the Montana and see if it can scan it. But it did a great job on the 1990 Ford. I have a lot of reading to do to figure it out. But it seems to have a ton of tests.

nice find! I sure could use one of those with all the pre-OBD II Jeep tinkering I do.

CL can be a gold mine. The wife and I are always digging up more stuff for Jeeps then we have time or money for.

I had some pm'* going with Dan and mentioned that I try to not need to read OBD1 codes. The great part of a tool like this is ..it'll read 1.5

And somehow I am reminded that I have a SnapOn Brick (MT2500) sitting on the shelf in need of the cartridge.
