Default anyone any good with holley 4 bbl carbs?

i'm in the process of rebuilding an old holley 650. i've got it all broken down and i'm debating milling the choke tower off...

anyone ever done this? hard? worth it? things to look out for? advice? anything?

It took me awhile to get the mental picture, but I finally did.

I'm assuming you're no longer using the choke plate right? I don't see any reason not to mill it down since the big Dominator doesn't have a choke horn. :?

yeah, i just went ahead and did it. it took this long.

just slapped a hacksaw across the top and just cranked across. finished it off with a flat file. beautiful. gonna top it off with one of those K&N air horns...

should be worth an extra horse or two.
