So i just got back from a 3 day trip to kansas to look at some apt. (parents are divorcing)

Well, we had to rent a car since we flew. my dad drew a wildcard and got the 2009 ford escape. I cannot express how it was. WHO ON EARTH PUTS A 4 CYLINDER ENGINE INTO AN ESCAPE! whoever thought of that doesn't know nothing about the weight of a Escape. How could you be so dumb? Even the bonneville with its 3.8l It was the only engine it came with. My heart goes out to those people who bought the 4cyl escapes. Its a disgrace. Thats what i think about it.

Well, I think that if you are going to buy a new car, you go for a test drive. I'm sure when you go for a test drive your going to see if you like the 4-cyl or not. Besides, the only people that would buy the 4-cyl are setting out to save money. But hey, thank god it'* only a rental.

Alot of rental cars in the US are 4 Cyl'* its just the way they roll.. I once rented a Intrigue with a 4 Banger !!

Lots of Compact SUV'* have 4 cyl motors. but a ford 4 cyl isnt as peppy as a Mitsubishi, Toyota, ect 4 cyl

4cyl'* just suck in general in terms of power abilites i mean this in a stock manner cause ik now certain 4bangers make crazy power with crazy money but a stock 4 banger is just a gas sipper no impressive torque numbers or horsepower numbers really but yah know i just live by two rules no fords and no 4 bangers lol so a ford escape 4 banger is a double no no for me lol

They all ready have. The Equinox is available with a 2.4 4cyl. And its larger than the Escape
