I don't care if it is a repost. Those pictures were amazing.

Anyone know why they didn't use the ecotec style oil filter on that engine?

Not quite. Bill Lutz said it'* going to be roughly around the same price as the V6 and V8 Dodge Magnum respectively. So ~$25k for the base model V6, and ~$30k for the base model V8.

I went to the Chicago Auto Show last Monday, and took a bunch of photos of it. It'* even sharper looking in person. The proportions look odd in photos, and I didn't know what to make of it till I got to see it in the...umm...steel. Now I likey! Anyway, here you go...














If anyone wants high res versions of any of those, I still have them saved in their original forms on my computer.

Normally I would agree but I think that was one of the GXP'/Bonneville'* downfalls.
if you can get a Magnum/charger or mustang for @30 grand or less they need to compete with price as well.

I read somewhere that the G8 GT with the 6.0L will start at $29K and option out at $33K.
