For those that love to hate GM and want Toyota....
...don't forget that, as many of us point out regularly, there will always be a certain number of problems with any given manufacturer'* vehicles. Just because yours has issues does not, or at least should not, brand the manufacturer across the board.
To reinforce my point, please take a look at these two articles documenting Toyota'* current woes regarding recalls:
This one happened over a year ago, but is worthy of comment due to the nature. A brief quote:

In all honesty, this is probably just growing pains. It would be hard to have such a perfect record with the amount of expansion they are going through. Compare their size in the US 20 years ago to their size now, with the size of GM in the US 20 years ago and it'* size now. I'm sure that could help explain the problems they're having now. (Just my opinion).

Imports are cheap inside and out? Yes, Japanese cars are known more for their cost levels than most cars.. Most german cars are if anything overbuilt due to the autobahn, etc.. Japanese cars are built to do what they need to do though, and don't make things overly complicated for the most part. Taking apart a Jap interior is generally worlds easier then a GM one..
Anyone with a reasonably unbiased mind in the auto industry knows that toyota is one of the top quality focused companies out there. As "normal" as our 4 cyl camry is, it'* built amazingly well.
I also don't give most consumer magazines a glance at when it comes to cars either.
This is a recal, they're fixing the problem, something a certain make didn't do with their ticking time bomb UIM'*...
