Devastating loss by the 5th ranked Aggies
Fifth ranked Texas A&M suffered a humiliating defeat by the No1 ranked team today. Coach Wolford was confident of his victory, deciding at halftime to sub in his entire second string and in spite of this fact, Texas A&M still only managed to eke out 98 passing yards [67 of those in one tremendous pass play to score in the second quarter]. The Bandits defense managed to hold the Aggies to a whopping -4 rushing yards, injuring the starting quarterback for the Aggies twice and breaking the ankle belonging to one A&M defensive back.
In the first half alone, the Bandits racked up 136 passing yards and over 200 rushing yards, leading the Bandits to a 49-3 lead early on.
"We just didn't play to our potential today," Aggies head coach was quoted as saying as he headed into the locker room after the game, which isn't hard to believe from the team which boasted the third ranked defense and the first ranked offense in the country.
Coach Wolford managed to continue his unprecedented 43 game win streak with this smashing 49-10 victory, and there can be no doubt his team has their collective eyes on the just-as unprecedented third National Title in three years.
Okay, so i just finished playing a football game on NCAA football 2006. now im bored again. 5 min quarters just dont take long enough.
