http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/...ag=pop;stories

128mph as he zips by a Day Care Center, a Church, .... And I guess an Officer with a radar gun.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! What a wing nut. Guess he will have to thumb a ride to the races.

SAMzGXP 08-24-2011 09:48 PM

he can still drive at the track so i doubt hes pissed off lol

but damn 138 in a 45 is insane, and which lexus is worth 400k+? :/

94 olds vert 08-24-2011 09:50 PM

I think he was more than qualified to go 128mph. And it was down a closed road.

GXP Venom 08-24-2011 09:57 PM

You misread the story it was Not a 'closed course'

"Busch addressed the court before his sentencing, apologizing again for driving 128 mph in a 45 mph zone in a bright yellow 2012 Lexus on May 24.
"I think you'll be different in the future," District Court Judge H. Thomas Church said.
"I sure will, your honor," Busch replied.
Busch and his wife, Samantha, were in the car when he was pulled over on a two-lane road in an area near a subdivision, a day-care center and a church. The hand-built LFA sports car was on loan to Busch from Lexus for a 24-hour test drive." "There's probably reason why on the TV commercials that they always show at the bottom, `Professional driver, closed course.' Mine was not that. Again, I apologize sincerely. All I can do is make sure it doesn't happen again.

The overgrown punk is no more qualified to break the speed limit than any other citizen. This wasn't a track, it was an open road with the unexpected dangers that spring up at a moments notice continually. I think he should have gotten alot more than 45 day suspension and yet his Lawyer cries he wasn't treated like an ordinary citizen?

Hahahahahaha. Ya, money it is. At least he has to get chauffeured for 45 days. If he got a year his lawyer would be screaming RAPE.

silversurfer 08-24-2011 10:32 PM

Those LFA's have a history of causing problems...his stupidity and the fact that toyota's best test driver that was arguably the best in the world got killed in europe driving a prototype...

funny how the system works eh?
3 years ago in my GTP i got pulled over doing 130 KPH in a 50 zone. I got a pink slip.

I was so lucky the cop didnt show up and the court was dismissed.
If he showed up i would have ended up with a $3000 fine, 6 points on my record and 3 months suspention

Danthurs 08-24-2011 11:27 PM

If any of us had done that, we would be lucky to be driving again, well, ever. 45 days is a joke.
