Default Grandma'* first ticket

My 95 year old grandma got her first ticket today. She rear-ended someone in stop and go traffic. The car in front of her was cut off and slammed on it'* brakes and she couldn't stop.

The car is totalled. An 89 Olds 98 Regency with 57000 miles. Every option. Was in beautiful shape. The insurance is gonna pony up 2100. I'm sad that I won't get the chance to see it before it'* gone and I can't get any pics. Grandma is fine and fiesty as ever.

Not yet. She'* gettin something though. She can afford a really nice car, but I doubt it'll be fancy. As sad as it sounds, she says she doesn't want to spend too much of her "estate"...

I'm glad your Gram is ok. Sorry to see another 98 gone thou. <RIP>

AS for Estates, I don't get the whole inheretance thing at all; why wait until after your gone to give your money away. You won't be there to get any appreciation or watch anyone enjoy it. You can't take it with you, thats for sure - Tell Gramma to go buy whatever she wants, she'* earned it IMO.

That'* a common thing for people who have gone through the era of the World wars and the Great depression. Save, save, save, spend a little, save, save, save and then save some more.

Glad to heat Granny is okay. Sorry to hear about the 98. I know someone who had one, they are very nice.
As far as the Estate, the car will be part of the Estate anyway, so tell Granny to live it up. She certainly deserves to.

Glad Granny is doing good. Bet she was giving the cop a piece of her mind after getting ticketed...
