Prediction. If this hurricane hits Galveston at the level it is now. Galveston will be all but gone. I go there almost every year. That town will be worse than New Orleans. Then there is Houston. Only fifty miles north east of Galveston. It will be slammed real hard. Sad part is the down town area and alot of general housing are right along the bay where all the storm surges will come in. Houston could end up getting hit very bad.

My sister lives in Galveston. Left town this afternoon. Gonna stay in College station.

Weather man around here said it should weaken when it gets closer to a strong 3 to mid 4. so hopefully he right.

Guys I have family in Bryan College station and they are predicting that when the hurricane hits there it could still be a cat 1 possible a 2. I could be bad for the as far as winds and possible tornados go. My family is all getting together out side of bryan.
