Just got off the phone with BillBoost

everyone needs to tell this guy to flush his stinking cooling system! procrastinator!

actually, he's a super-dee-dooper helpful guy. really. thanks bill. you're a wealth of knowledge...

back to my scolding...so his car is running hot. too hot. and summer is coming. and the excuses for not flushing it sooner are getting lamer. so i think everyone needs to pack his inbox full of encouragement to get out there (and stop watching tv and eating your frozen pizza like this morning) and flush the system! :nono:

he is a procrastinator, but he gets a LOT of stuff done.

BillBoost37 04-16-2006 11:05 PM

First off...Scotty Q Tips help clean that wax out. ;)

Told you I flushed it last year, and it doesn't run hot....it heats up at lights quicker than it should..fans come on and take care of it.

Going to flush with some cleaner stuff by Zerek...hopefully won't have to get a new radiator.

Thanks for the concern though...off to bed.

Haha...My fear is simply ordering the new rad is the smarter way to go. Why waste the time fighting the inevitiable.

that is probably the condensor you are looking at. It sits in front of the rad and takes up the whole area. It shouldn't cause the issue idling..it would keep the car warmer while moving.

Mr Bean 04-17-2006 09:51 AM

hey bill. it is concern. you have a gorgeous car...why kill it? ;) hey..i had bad signal..what can i say. :duh: in any case, if your car is heating up at idle, it is going to cancel the positive cooling affects of your ceramic-coated manis...so i'm curious to know when and how you fixed it. look at all the guys that care about you...or at least your bonnie. ;)

EXCELLENT! I am fine while moving. I really didn't want to bend those *#*$ back in place.
