Default Only need to drop 5-1/2 minutes...

To match my PB for a 2 mile run.
Between my junior and senior year of high school at a summer track camp in Scranton, PA I did a 2-mile cross country run against the then 2nd ranked Indiana varsity track runner. I was in the best shape I've ever been in and ran a 9 minute and 13 second 2-mile cross country run.
Tonight I timed myself on my first timed run and pushing myself the hardest I've pushed myself since I started running/working out again (roughly 1 month ago).
I finished my 2-mile run (on pavement in a $35 dollar pair of K-Swiss'*) in 14m 39s!!!
I could have done abit better, but 1-1/2 miles into it my right kidney notified me I should have taken another **** before I ran. I had taken one 30 minutes before I ran, but thought that was enough.... I had been drinking abit of water today for hidration in anticipation for this. Bright, but not the brightest.

But the thing I'm really excited about is knowing that I have even better in me. I emptied the bladder immediately upon returning and felt 100x better, and with only the slightest bit of deep breathing. My trick for the least amount of stress, taking smaller steps than last nights run where I tried to take BIG steps.... too much energy and I was beat just over 3/4 of the way through.
