Job Interview.....

I got a call from the Buick Dealership in Belvidere. Which is 1/2 hour away and gave me an interview for Thursday at 2pm. They do $8 an hour with 25% commission.

P.S. Not an April Fools joke

P.P.S. I will try and be an honest salesman and not be one who goughes an old lady and whatnot.....

P.P.P.S. Wish me luck......

No offense, but I'll give you a month.

I'd avoid working at any place where you can find customer complaints online because there's a chance that those complaints might come back to you.

While selling cars is commission based, you can make good money if you're very persuasive. Also, Buick has some very nice cars.

Good luck with everything

To heck with the Vector B.S. -the cost for this is your humility. You will be doing door-to-door cold calls, even though they say you won't. I got suckered into the meeting (1 hr from me) about 6 years ago. Two friends and I went. You have to give them money first.
NEVER take a job from a company that makes you put money up front first, and it's not a simple $20..... back then they wanted $500. :!:
One of my buddies thought it was too good of a job to pass on. He ended up DONATING the $500 to the company, and donated alot of time and his pride.

Yeah thanks to the power of the internet I won't get scammed.

But I need a job with hours and the Buick Dealership I can manage. I upsell junk on HSN everyday.

A Good Update:

I got back from the interview a few minutes ago and it looks encouraging. He asked if I can start next week and he will call me for a 2nd interview. He seemed really interested with me and he laughed alot on what I was saying and what I put on my application.(I put the reason for leaving McDonalds, "Couldn't take it anymore.")

I also talked to a couple other salesman in the building and they we're all friendly and relaxed. REALLY encouraging.

IT sounds good but I'm not holding my breath...

So who wants to buy a $42,000 Enclave from me? Its RED!

heres an update:

I "followed up." to the sales manager and he said they haven't made any decisions yet and noted that its looking good for me. I will get a call for either a 2nd interview or that they found someone else in the next week.

I want this job SOOO bad.

I'm assuming this is sales

Ask yourself two questions.....

Do you like to have some "puppydog" you all around a dealers lot ??

And

Do you have the capacity/capability to lie to people to their faces for a buck??
