Bought it to drive.. I'd rather drive in rain and snow than walk.

That's why almost every gas station up here has a car wash. It's worth the xtra 5 to 8 bucks to wash the gunk off. Mine gets a bath every other tank in the winter....

Ya, I'm in agreement with you on this one. Even my beat up 94 is going to get cleaned. I'd do it myself, but I just don't have access to the facilities... yet.

BillBoost37 11-15-2005 01:52 PM

I've got the facilities for above freezing. I agree though..cold freezing days the car wash is great

Mine gets a wash every week in the winter. since mines white, no one can see it anyways. lol

I'm in Plainview, Nebraska and woke up to 2 inches of snow, more snow still coming down, 30 mph winds, and roads that are getting icier by the hour.
Job site (whole town) was shut down for my crew by 11 AM, but another employee and I Minnesota'ed it until 1PM when we needed more supplies and found our storage building, and our shop locked up tight (I forgot to grab my key's for the storage building this morning).
Let me tell you, this town is dead -even the only restaurant is shut down (I was there and pretty much was kicked out half-way through my lunch because all of the evening shift called in to say they weren't coming in or were in the ditch trying to come in.
