well ok where to start... lets go back to January and we find out that the apt is being foreclosed on and we have to get our **** and get out basically. well that is the start of it you would think that they would at least make an effort to try and sell it or at least not let it get to that point. Call me crazy dont over extend yourself and spend tons more then you can afford. well zip forward and all the little petty stuff I deal with at work and how we have to jump out of our A** to try and go above and beyond the set criteria for shift just to please a set supervisor who has a set complex of only liking certain staff but what ever he will get what is coming to him sometime since everyone hates him even the clients lol. well fast forward to the house ordeal i finally get the house inspection ordered and so the day of the inspection the previous owners are still there doing the packing and such which i got told is a first for the inspector. well the inspector is going around and the freaking previous owners started pulling the door ***** out and some of the cabinets in the kitchen which was not part of the deal. Then we go into the "back 40" so to speak and they have started taking up the fence that was installed in the ground that I was planning on for the dog run. Now remember this place is a short sale so basically they are at the last stage before the bank takes it back in a foreclosure, but then how do you explain the brand new crotch rocket in the garage that they still had temp tags on. Called me old fashioned but a house is more important and valuable than a little speed toy. I wont mention race here because it is all but a null point but they fit every stereotype after the experience with them.

So I am BSing with my roomie and tell them they should really keep the noise from when they are "playing" down to a dull roar. He shoots back with well to get knocked up you got to have lots of sex (duh) well his wife has 2 kids already and are literally retarded and have been nothing but trouble and headaches. I have seen more sherriffs and police people in the time I have lived here then I have in 3 yrs living where I lived before. So let me explain something to you the hubby is pushing 400 on a good day and the wife is not overly bad looking but still. So this is where I should tell you that 3 weeks after I moved in he told me that he is declaring bankruptcy and the wife'* checks are getting garnished due to some legal crap her son did, so tell me where and why you would want to have another carpet demon and run the risk of another fiasco like the other 2 kids. this is also where I say why would you want a kid since you cant afford to pay your debts and got to declare bankruptcy, and this is the phrase that truly pissed me off. He said that it doesn't matter uncle sam will cover us good if we pop out a little kid and we will be golden. Amanda and I were just floored that he said it in the tone that he did and was being totally serious. You would think that a couple that is having money issues would cancel the premium cable and dvr and landline when they have 2 separate smartphones.

now I gave him the money for staying here which is not a lot but still enough now for a guy that has no money he all of the sudden buys a rototiller and mower so that he can get his garden done and not catch up on bills.

Fast forward to like 2 wks ago and it is still icy on certain days so my roomies wife slips and catches herself and her wrist hurts so they rush her to the er (without insurance), they come back and it is just a sprain. well she is a front desk clerk for a hotel, and she has a wrist brace to support it and she tries to take medical leave for it and when they won't let her she just says she cant work. Well she calls back when the sprain is better and they have all but fired her but left her on the schedule with no hrs. then this last week she said that she is applying for unemployment even though she has another part time job.

then fast forward 2 days and the hubby of the duo has a blow out with the supervisor at work that everyone hates and it goes as far as the PR director and the division supervisors. In this powwow they all but tell him that either remove his head from his a** and he should start looking for a new job just in case". he comes back to the house and he tells me all this and said "f*** them I will let them fire me and i can then get unemployment". now this is the 2nd to last day before his days off and so he said "f*** them I am taking tomorrow off even though i don't have any paid personal days left." As I am leaving for class all of the sudden I hear his xbox 360 fire up on the surround system and I get home like 8 hrs later and he is still there playing. You would think that a guy on the short list to get fired you would be looking for a job or at least sniffing out the opportunities in the probable situation that you get the boot.

now fast forward to today we had a final presentation for a class and it was a group presentation well Jenny and i did our parts and well the other partner who has parents that are loaded so she comes in today with an attitude and the requirements for the final project say to have a Powerpoint presentation. She comes in today with a usb thumb drive and so I ask her ok how are we going to show it? She whips out her phone and says oh well go get your computer my buddy has mine and isnt out of class yet. My computer is in the car so I have to jog out there and get my computer to pick up the slack because of her. I fire up the laptop and stick the drive in and see a folder named "car show" which is the project topic. I open it up and all it is is pics from the show and no PP. she is off in lala land talking to other people while Jenny and I set up the table. I can't find a PP file and so I try to get her attn and when she finally comes over she give me attitude saying that there is no PP and that she had already told me 4 times which is pure ****. Well I set up the computer to slide show the pics but it is not a PP like instructed. We had emailed her this weekend asking about the PP and she said we are golden so I am not stressed she hasnt dropped the ball like this before.
Now you add the fact that this thing is supposed to last 2 hrs and she bails 30 mins in "supposedly the teacher approved it". The car show was on the 17th and she has only made 1 class since which also complicates things.
She told me yesterday that she would be there at 1030 this morning for the 1100 presentation. she shows up 10 mins to 11.

maybe it is just the way I was raised or something but if you say you are going to do something do it.
It is official I have all but given up on humanity.

WOW...what a mess man!

Man, I know the feeling. There is so much similar crap going on in my life right now, and I type fast... your post could look like an introduction to a rant I would make. But that isn't why I'm posting...

A, You need to see a therapist. Really. I got to that point where my head was going to explode, and sometimes you just need to vent. Its money well spent.

B, Take up a hobby that requires physical exertion. It helps take your mind off the stress, and gives you something to focus your need to vent on. I play drums, without it, I would probably go insane. Join a gym, take kickboxing lessons, get an upright punching bag, run, bike, something. Its healthy to have an outlet to relieve the stress.

C. When you get really worked up over something, ask yourself if whatever it is will matter in a year. or 6 months even. A year down the road, will it make a difference if someone doesn't show up when they said they would? Stress over bigger things, and don't let the smaller things eat away at you.

Yep, to bad that thought usually only occurs way after you get woked up. If you can't afford a therapist, or you don't think you want to involve yourself into that, at least you have us to talk it out with!.
