Help with EGR Valve.. Locating it

Hey i just purchased my 92 bonneville v6 3.8 about 2 months ago. It has few problems. My main concern is my EGR Valve it desperatley needs replaced and i cant find it. The autozone website has a guide but its examples on an 88. (88-99 manual) however it shows the EGR Valve in a different spot than mine. Where it is on the 88 is right in front of the transmition fluid dipstick. On my car in front of the Transmission Dipstick, its the gas pedal lines and runs to what seems to me the carberator (which isnt because its all electrical ) anyway can anyone please help me with this. I've been told its in the intake manifold but since i seen the manual not sure. Please respond and help me out with my problem . ITs an awesome car and in good condition. thanks a lot

If it'* a naturally aspirated 92, it likely doesn't have an EGR. What color is the upper intake manifold (top center piece of engine), tan metal or black plastic?

Tan? No EGR

Black? Right side of engine, close to the radiator.
