I'm In Kuwait
And what a fun trip it was, too  I went from Anchorage to the Twin Cities, then off to Detriot 8) , then to Virginia. That was all commercial air, btw. Then from VA, on a big a$$ plane to Ireland. The carrier was OAI (Omni Air International). Nice ride. Spent 4 hours in Ireland, had me an Irish tall & dark 8) then I flew over to, and stayed in Guatar. Still not at my final destination  After 2 day's there, it was Kuwait, in a C-17. Outstanding!! :D
You know the best part? I did not loose a SINGLE piece of luggage through all that mess ;) How cool is that? 8) I don't have any pictures at the moment. I have been here only 5 day's, and the have been busy day's, too! I can tell you it's hot  Avg daily is ~120°F . And were +7 hrs. of Eastern time zone. My job here is to escort third country nationals around base while they peform their job. Sound like fun, eh? |
Glad to hear you arrived safe and sound. Seems like a very slight temperature diffence between there and your last assignment ;)
Keep safe, Greg. Looking forward to seeing you back, stateside, soon. 8) |
