I played with Ubuntu, and made a few install disks for it. It found all the periphials for my laptop right away, but I am so used to windows that, while it was a fun experience/experiment, I prefer the ease of the mass market OS

I like Linux. It is stable and something different. However, I find it horribly impractical for what I do. It takes longer to do simple actions on a Linux system compared to a Windows one.

I have a linux media server and two client computers. Linux is actually faster at many involved tasks than any windows version such as compling a program, editing/encoding video, but Windows has all the good apps and games which is Linux'* downfall.

Used it for awhile, but I couldn't find any real reason to use it. Nothing was easier, somethings were harder just because of the unfamiliarality. Because there were no real benefits to me, it wasn't worth learning it.

Although my computer is royally effed at the minute...lol, I should be using Ubuntu again.
