2 Years Today
Today is the 2 year anniversary of my fathers death.
Sad day for me and my family

To anyone that has lost a loved one, never forgot them, and you'll be reunited someday, somewhere out there.

Its 3 months and 3 days since my grandma passed away but I keep the card they had available at the funeral in my wallet just because I love the poem on it.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond'* gift of snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the autumn'* gentle rain
When you awaken in the morning'* hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there
I did not die.
Best of thoughts to you and anyone else who last lost someone they love.

Jim, my heart goes out to you and your family. I can't imagine your grief but the only advice I can offer is to remember the great times. Your Dad will forever live in your heart. He is not gone as long as you bring him with you wherever you go.
