I read literally hundreds of review on the HP w2207, and after staring at that $100 off price for hours, I gave in. I have a 2nd one coming. Time for a new computer desk now! No way in his desk gonna handle 44" of LCD. :lol:

If you must install Vista I would install the 32 bit version for best performance/compatibility with software. |

64-bit is for the bleeding edge. 32-bit will be fine for you.
Be aware that 32-bit versions of windows support only 4gb of ram, while 64-bit can support up to 128gb. I know this sounds insane at the moment, but times are changing quickly and 4gb will be a standard soon enough. |
VIsta can actually only use 3.x something natively, and can sorta use the rest of 4g on 32 bit. 64 bit can actually run things quicker if they're optimized for it, some games for instance have 64 bit coding that helps it run better on a 64 bit proc.
32 will work much better with older apps for XP 32 bit and so on. |
The first new montitor showed up today. Holy Crap its huge!! :shock: I don't need 2 :lol:
I can't even imagine having two of these next to eachother. I guess I will later this week. The internal parts from newegg are showing up tomorrow. That goes to show who has faster service. I ordered from both companies within 10 minutes of eachother, Tigerdirect's order showed up a day earlier than Newegg's. |
