Default Ford 3.8 liter specifications?(updated with pictures)

I'm trying to find some specifications on a 1993 Mercury Sable LS with the 3.8 V6. I can't find any for any of the years! I even tried the Ford Taurus and can't find anything.. It was my grandfather'* car who passed away this last week and we're bringing it home tomorrow.. Isn't it something like 150 horsepower and 210 torque? I can't seem to remember..

thanks for the specs. It'* already gone through two headgaskets I believe and it has less than 100,000 miles on it. My dad is only buying it to help my grandma out so she can pay some more bills. she has no use for a car and it'* only sitting in the driveway since my Grandpa passed away. It'll be a backup car for all of us, not a daily driver. I hope not to drive it that much though.. it'll creep me out. :?

well, we picked the car up today. It is definately the 3.8 liter V6. You probably wonder what my impressions are of this car? well, honestly, it makes me appreciate how nice my car is in comparison.. I can't wait to jump back into the aurora. lol. Even though it'* a 3.8L it'* dog slow. You have to practically go 3/4 throttle for it to accelerate. at WOT it has decent pickup though. It just feels like you're beating on it to get up to speed. I admit however, that the 3.8 is smooth. It has smoother acceleration than my shortstar engine, especially at idle. you can't even tell the engine is running at idle. At idle my engine has a very distinct feel to it.. you can tell it'* running. (same with the 3800.)

Now for the downsides. This is the first time I've been in this car. Right off I noticed that when turning there'* a popping/grinding noise (does it when turning both directions.) The steering is mush and wanders horribly. It'* hard to keep the car straight on the road. The suspension on all four corners is way too soft. The car floats and bounces down the road with only 75,000 miles on it. The automatic transmission which is original, shifts oddly. It doesn't shift bad, it just feels odd when it does it. Almost like it'* not a solid shift, but really inaccurate and way too soft to be good for a transmission. The engine after driving 20 minutes smells very strongly of coolant. Not sure if it'* a leak or what. The interior isn't bad on it for a 92. The passenger side of the dash has a nice elegant look to it but the driver'* side ruins the entire dash. The driver'* side, the gauge cluster to be specific, look bulky and cheap. The steering wheel is also too small in my big hands and too soft like you're gripping a pillow. The seats provide average support.

Other than these few key points it'* really not a bad car, especially for a 1992. I just don't want to drive it. It just feels creepy to drive it.

well, if it were just any other sable I brought home, I'd be fine with it.. but it was my grandpa'* car who just died. My grandma was crying as I drove it away. :( (she can't drive so she wanted to get rid of it.) I'm half hoping that my dad decides he doesn't want to keep it. :?

I've noticed a trend with fords though. Our 86 ranger, 90 sable, 91 topaz, all wreaked of coolant. None of our GM cars ever have.
