I need someone with a HUD.

Could i get someone with a 92-99 non heated HUD windsheild to go look at it for me?

I need to know if it says DW1105 or DW1134, should be on the lower passenger corner, but may be anywhere across the bottom.

They had heated windshields?? I will, but mine is not factory... I had a rock chip it and had to get a replacement, you still want me to look?

Damemorder 05-17-2004 07:55 PM

Yep, that's the part number for the glass, OEM and replacement.

Brb... making trip to garage :D

97NAbonneville1 05-17-2004 08:03 PM

OK... I didnt see anything like what you posted...
this is what mine looked like...

PPG
DW 1 1 7
DOT18
2

Damemorder 05-17-2004 08:04 PM

Dang.
might it be DW1106?

Those are the only three the book shows for these cars.... Got me confused...

OLBlueEyesBonne 05-17-2004 08:06 PM

Funny. My SSEi has the original windshield, but no #'s other than DOT 15 M12

My SLE (windshield is originally from a Lesabre) has all this info (non HUD though)

DOT 15
M32
43R-001232
NOM -1024 -I

I'm pretty positive... and it doesn't have the zero... its just written as: DW "one space one space seven"

Damemorder 05-17-2004 08:08 PM

I think The book is wrong. I'm using the NAGS list price book, it shows an DW1105 as normal, DW1134 as HUD, and says to only put in an DW1106 if thats' what was in the car.....

97NAbonneville1 05-17-2004 08:11 PM

My bad!! I'm sorry, I had a typo in my first post(s)...

It said this (wrote it down to be sure):

PPG
AS 1 1 7
DOT 18 M406
2
