..........Don't mess with a persons SSEi!!
I was just woke up by my alarm going off on my SSEi. Went to the front of my house to see whats up and a idiot in a Ford Fusion was peeling away from my house.
1st......dont mess with a mans SSEi
2nd.....dont have a 4cyl when I have a SUPERCHARGED car to catch you.
Even though the guy blew thru 2 stop lights to get away from me, I still caught up to you to get your plate number and called the cops. Friggan idiot!
The cops had me file a report. Nothing taken. He was not able to break the window as intended. My alarm is so advanced it shows on my remote that the front pass window was violated....lol. Cop couldnt believe it told me that. Previous owner must have been worried about things like this happening.
My baby is now sitting outside with all the lights on outside. Never had good looking, highly desirable car before. Any other ideas on what I can do to protect her and keep her in the driveway besides what I have now?

Sorry to hear about that, I'm glad to hear she'* in one piece though. Do you have a motion sensor light? That might deter the undesirables. I put one in after my explorer was broken into and haven't had an issue since. Keeping your car outside, there is no real way to keep people away from it. Now that they know it has an alarm they might stayaway from it and move on to an easier target.

The motion lights are nice, but didn't stop someone from braking in to my cars a few years back. Just gave them a nice light source so they could see what they were doing. I now live out side the city, and park in a garage.

Glad they didn't get into your car or damage it.
If someone is bound and determined to break into home or car, they will. You just have to do all you can to make it that much more difficult for them so they 1) give up, or 2) take so long at getting in, they get caught.

I live out in the country and between the woods and fence the only way in is through the driveway. We put up a motion alarm that alerts us through a unit inside the house whenever someone comes up the driveway. Between that and the sodium vapor light (yes the same as a parking lot light) no one has ever messed with the vehicles at the top of the driveway. We also no longer park anything near the road.
The best two options are either to use a garage or move out of the city. Security devices only deter they do not stop.

The weird thing is my security light illuminates and stays on for about 2 minutes after the car is started. I have started and turned it off about 6 times and it is not staying off. When I lock the car from the door button or use the remote.........once SEURITY light is off on the dash, about 30 seconds goes by and the alarm goes off. I have to lock each door manually and bypass the alarm. I cant use my aftermarket alarm because it confirms that my doors are locked and I know the above mentioned issue will happen.
Any ideas on this one?

I'm a fan of high brass myself- at least #2 shot- for soft tissue but if we gotta get through door panels and vinyl and seat padding, I'd go with 00 buck. If I wanted to go for fuel tank/tires, slugs will do. even if you miss the rubber and catch the wheel it will prolly bend it and lord knows with aluminum engines today we can even take a front end shot and prolly pop a tranny case or something that juices or sparks.
I'd choke it down with the shot cause lets face it, it'* going to be farther than we think so I want to be able to reach out there. not for crap in close quarters though. But since we know he'* a runner, best to plan for distance.
I'd get some of those Rockford Fosgate stickers! big ones- and whatever the hot stereo on Ebay is- make em think you just dropped 10 grand at the car audio store- I know, baiting should be illegal, but this whole situation developed from the start with the omission of rules so fair is fair.
