I love this forum

I always have corvette people to hang out with and talk about cars but until I found this place, I thought I was the only guy in the world who was into Bonnevilles and Pontiac sedans. I guess I am not a sick weirdo OR we are all a bunch of sick weirdoes lol :D

petraman 10-26-2006 04:07 PM

Why we have something in common! I love this place too! Glad you like it, and glad you're here!

toastedoats 10-26-2006 04:09 PM

i dont know about everyone else here, but i know that i sure am a sicko

Echo SSEI 10-26-2006 04:14 PM

I vote for your second observation. Honestly, being "into" 4 door, large family sedans is not your normal, everyday choice. But I have found that the people that do appreciate the Bonneville are, for some strange reason, very down to earth folks, with just a little bit of a twisted personality.

Yeah because in my "corvette world" there are cars that never hit the road and are only washed with filtered water. Here, just about every car is driven and has over 100K miles on it. People think I was nuts to get rid of my SLS for the SSEi but I was patiently on the prowl for a low model Bonne and it paid off!

SSE14U24ME 10-26-2006 04:22 PM

We do love our pontiacs ;) . As to whether or not you are a sick weirdo- only time will tell   j/k

Gumball 10-26-2006 04:24 PM

you want to see sick weirdo bonnie lovers ? get yourself to one of the meets

SSE Motorhead 10-26-2006 04:29 PM

If you think about it, what self-loathing punk-a$$ kid would dare be seen cruizin' in a 4-door family sedan? That's why the folks involved here are so cool...no punk-a$$ kids. Well, except for Boosty. Oh, wait, he's not a kid...

No offense to punk-a$$ kids, btw. I was one once. We didn't drive rice-paddy racers though.

:stupid:

The most entertaining thing is blowing the doors off of some kid at a light that has spent more on making the car look fast than he has trying to make it fast

Mmm... corvettes... my Father was a charter member of the Glen Region Corvette Club out of elmira way back in the day when he had cool cars.

I got my bonnevilles now cause at the time I was falling inlove with a car (read: 16 yrs old) a corvette was too much for me, and so a bonneville had to suffice.

Welcome to the club. you'll find more information here than you can even ponder.

Nah, none of the "kids" registered here are punks.

I love this site too. not long after I joined, I hosted a meet here in MA. It was a great turnout. 10 Bonnevilles cruising the streets of Melrose and a bunch of GREAT guys willing to jump in and lend a helping hand with anything.

Props also have to go out to the Admins and Mods here who do the fine job of keeping things in check while always showing mutual respect to everyone.

What a great asset this place is to Bonneville owners!!

That's always fun, especially when the "kid" is older than you.

So I'm not a punk? And yes, these members are very sick and twisted. Jim still scares me a little bit, yeah, Jim, you know why. :x

Maymybonnieliveforevr 10-26-2006 09:06 PM

Welcome aboard, and hope you enjoy the show. Nice to see someone with a chrome bumper big block Vette, and a Vert to boot. What else could you ask for, a Bonne and a Vette.

Good group of people here but they do get out of hand once in awhile.

A punk-ass kid having a kid..... Can you say "Rip in the space/time continuum" boys and girls....

I just realized how sad it is that I know how to spell "continuum"....

It's even more disturbing that you apparently know what the space/time continuum is.

I have 3 offspring, I wonder what that's done to the fabric of time and space? :bluetwitch:
