I don't think he cut anything. I'm pretty sure that'* just what HDD guts look like. Been a couple of years since I opened one, though

ohh, mos, how much would you want for some of those HDDs? Most times they just have bad logic boards and are some times swappable, let me know.

The vast majority of them are 6GB (wierd size, but....) SCSI2 drives.

It'd probably cost more than they're worth to ship them, but if you ever plan on being in or near The Cities I could probably grab a few

It'* probably just the sound made by the arm moving. The cone on the speaker is actually only for amplification. It'* not actually neccessary for the sound

Think of it like a cell phone speaker. Its not a full cone, but the sounds still comes out.
