I have a lot on my mind

For the passed 2 weeks I have been thinking of what to do with my life. I have thought about whating it out for my license to be reinstated but that wont be until 2009 and that is a long wait to be trying to make a career out of truck driving. Then I thought about going to school to study crimainal justice and become a state trooper. Either way I have to wait until my licesne is back together. Then I was thinking about temaing up with my boss and riding with him and making moves unloading the trailer to make some money but he agreed to a certain extent. It wont be a regualr job like it used to be because he only has one truck now and wont be making hard runs like we used too. So I planned on saving as much as i can because I am trying to save on getting my own truck. I figure, even though I cant drive the truck when I get it, I can hire someone and still make money on the runs. Soon, I hope I can get a regualr job and save more money. I still want to go to school right but I just have to put it on hold again.

What about just being a beat cop until you get your license back?

I doubt you can. Most police, troopers especially, have to be able to drive courses and such. Depending (because I either don't know, or have forgotten) on why you don't have your drivers license in the first place, you might have a hard time getting into an academy.

You could be a mounted police officer! 8)

I also forgot to mention that I wont be buying a car for a while uuntil I get my business at least. This is going to be a real test for me. I feel if i buy a car then i just stole my own money. I want to have it all for the truck before I do anything else with it.

Being in law enforment without a license and with your situation will be impossible. There are lots of jobs out there. Just find something that suits you, and you like.

I know. Thats why I said I was going to wait.

Being in the Chicago area, couldn't you be a mounted cop? (Yes we have cops on horses in Chicago...SO WATCH OUT!)

Otherwise find a simple factory job to build up some cashflow.
