I remember a conversation a while back about free loading family members..

Well this morning was the last straw.

I am paid up in bills till mid 2011.

She works every day.. gets a settlement check once a month totaling somewhere near 1400.

She hasn't bought a car, She continues to drive one of my vehicles.. She hasn't paid a dine in rent, Although she paid 300 in bills and bought maybe 200 in groceries.
She has been here since I closed October 15

The agreement was 550 a month since she is getting Half the house.

Honestly im not worried about the money, im pissed that she hasn't gotten a car yet. She will turn around and say well you buy me a car.. Like its my problem.

She comes up this morning all dressed to leave im like WTF.... Its New Years...

I almost felt like reporting my truck stolen...

She is going to be told tonight that I am not a Homeless shelter nor do I operate an Enterprise car rental..

Rent is to be paid on the first of the month and if she doesn't have a vehicle by Next monday she'* screwed !!

Worst part is... Jenn could be all set up down stairs working in home when she isn't at work, clearing some good coin !!

I can't set her up down there cause my mom'* **** has taken over everything !

oh damn dude, sorry to hear that. If you don't mind me syaing, this sounds like this has been building up for a while and yet you just put a ring on her didn't you? Too me that sounds you guys should have what it takes to work it out. just think before speaking to her about anything so you won't say anything you regret, words can hurt more than anything.

I could set up an aesthetics room in the basement for Jenn and she could work out of home !

Unless you act like a landlord and not a family member, it will never improve. Rent is due on the 1st or before. This is your notice, pay up or the locks are changed. The car is not yours and you no longer have permission to drive it, hand over the key. Failure to due so will result in the car being called in as stolen.

When you enter into a 'business agreement' with family, they should be treated no differently than anyone else that you would have had the same agreement with. When rent is due on the 1st, it doesn't matter who they are. Your personal property is not at their disposal, and they should not expect anything other than what was agreed to and hopefully agreed and signed in writing.

Ooooh, my bad lol yeah, family stuff is some sticky ****. Nothing is as sticky as balancing mother with wife/GF.

Yea, I'm afraid that 'no mercy' is the way it'* got to be with family members.

Honestly, you should try to avoid doing business with family whenever possible.

1. To help her out.

She had some issues with US customs and basically needed a "reason" to cross, So she started driving my son to day care.. Its on the way to where she works. So really she isn't going out of her way. Then she started hitting me up for Gas Money... WTF ??

Your using my Truck/Car to go to work and you want me to supply you with gas money... Not happening, She bitched but oh well.

Well 3 months later she now expects me to buy her a car ?? haha Not Happening.

She has these little talks with Jenn and likes to throw in complaints, That puts Jenn in the middle.. Her last comment was "This is like a 3 way Marriage"... Ummm NO

She even went as far as saying she feels like a live in maid..

To avoid conflict Jenn just smiles and nods (She doesn't feel its her place to say anything)

The way I see it is Jenn is apart of my family (hence the 50/50 split) that as of right now I'm paying 100% of.

I am going to build a spread sheet today Detailing what she is expected to Pay or Do.

She wouldn't live anywhere else for nothing thats my point.
