I got me a ticket!
 

So yeah, I washed, waxed, and cleaned the heck out of my car today and when I was all done I went to take some fall pictures. Well on my way back I was cruising and lone behold there was a feakin cop. I was doing 45 in a 30 and he ticketed me. I have the option of paying the $131.50 fine, or going to driving school and paying $152.00 and not having the points on my license. So I think I'm gonna take the class. But I just thought I'd let ya'll know I got a ticket taking pics of my car for you guys lol. I'll have the pics up soon.

45 feels like 30 in these cars. Sorry to hear about it though

congrats on your first haro lol I know the feeling I never have cops give me a second look when the car is dirty but the day I took glamour shots I get a cop following me and then I find a good spot and pull over to let him by but he stops and gets out of the car and says nice car and I ask if he cared if I took the pics there he said sure and took off. what is the deal when you clean them you get all the attetion :?:

I keep my car clean because I love when people check out my ride ;) I can't stand when the car gets a little dirty and I know its going to rain. I will wait for the rain to come and go and then I can wash the car.

It is a matter of not having the money every week to wash and wax it I am poor and crippled from surgery

Too bad about the ticket. But, I'd go the driving school route (and have in the past).

My car usually gets at least one good hand wash a month during the summer months. Doesn't cost a thing once you own the supplies. During the winter, she gets a drive through was every other tank. I figure it's worth the extra 7 or 8 bucks to keep the salt off. Stupid snowy state....

Yeah, I just bought my SSEi in August and this is the 1st time that I have had a chance to hand wash her and wax her. I figured I'd do it before it got any colder. It was 58 here yesterday and it's going to be 70 here today but the rest of the week is gonna be cold.

I wash mine once a week unless it is raining a lot. I go to the do it yourself carwash if I'm broke or I go to the Penzoil and wash it for $7 when I don't want to fool with it. Or I bribe my son to wash mine at the do it yourself by offering to pay for his car wash too. ;)
