NO. I owned a BMW,a '87 325is, and parts cost forced me to sell it. It would have cost me over $400 to do a simple tune up.

Plus the 318i is very slow, around 108hp, and most people buy them to drop in a 2.5 I-6 or similar engine.

Yeah a BMW is very expensive to own especially an older one. I just paid 51 bucks for OEM wipers for my car

despite the advice given...i think i might go ahead and get this beamer. i dont have ne bills to pay and not alot to worry about financially, its been well kept and maintained....theyr asking 3900...its not worth that much so ima see if i can talk them down. shadow. can you give me any specs on the 318i im having trouble finding anything. all i kno is that its rated at around 100hp and 112 lbs of tourque and i believe its a 1.8 liter right?
