Somewhat Ironic...
I guess this is somehwat ironic...
i was just watching the history channel and on there...Modern Marvels: Custom Cars
ok well at the commercial break, they give some trivia...
"In 2005, a modified Honda Civic exceeded 195 miles per hour on the Bonneville Salt Flats"
Now see ricers, they named the Pontiac Bonneville after the Bonneville Salt Flats for a good reason...modded ricers have no place on Bonneville Salt Flats.
ok back to bed, good night...

You are probably looking at $20,000 in mods to get that, Transmission will cost you probably 1/3 of that due to the custom fabbed parts...

The civic was a modified RS. They spent alot of green and in the end gained 5hp - LMAO
They couldn't win in the normal class so they had to use quite a bit of duct tape so the could run in the 'modified' class for that size to the record.
What I was impressed with that year was this guy that had a quad turbo'd Suzuki motorcyle that made over 450hp. .
