Any heavy pain killer, if you're not used to it, will make you feel kinda sick.

I hate heavy pain killers. "Back in the day" I might have enjoyed 'em, but lately all they do is make me feel kinda "wierd". Sick, shakey, etc.....

How is that working for the pain.
I have tried many and the only pain pill that works for me is Oxycontin 20mg pills. I have been on them for about a year due to a neck problem. I dont drink or smoke...never have done either but not sure if its good for me to take Oxycontin long term.

yeah, well i am back to my normal self now...
the tramdol did not work in the least for my pain...it put me in more misery...i threw up 2wice and felt sick all day, dizzy, headache, very mood swingy...i am NEVER taking that stuff again
so you are on Oxycontin huh...how does that work for you?
my mom takes Oxycontin, she'* been on it for about 3 years now, she has many painful problems including being a cancer survivor. Shes got like 3 herniated disks, 2 bulging, and such. APPARENTLY, the whole family has bad backs...so now i have it...so thats what the tramdol was for. I have taken almost everything that has been made. I am super sensitive to almost all drugs, so we are STILL searching for the right one. Right now we are planning my back surgery. I have something called scheuermann'* kyphosis. It is a deformation of the thoracic spine. A normal curve in the thoracic area is 20-40 degrees, mine is 71. Also, in the same area, I have a 30 degree * curve scholiosis. All in the same 12 inch section of back. And this is throwing my lumbar spine out of alignment which is causing all the pain...well not all, more like contributing to it.
So anyways, we are just worried because the surgery has great potential to paralyse me. :( Which would of course...suck, big time.
(Thoracic=area of spine around shoulder blades.)
But anyways, onto bigger and better medications to help this pain.
