Default My New Car?

MY NEW CAR!

I am planning when I get the Riviera payed off to get a new car. (next summer possibly.) That above isn't actually what I'm getting, but it very well could be. That is a 2001 BMW 323i. It is going for $15,000!! I've always loved BMW'* and driving my aunt'* proved to be a whole lot of fun. Plus, they're built awesome, reliable, and very eye catching. The only reason I don't want one is because I am 19. It would look really bad for someone my age to be driving a car like that. People would get the wrong idea of "rich kid" even though I'm not, even though you could very easily buy a honda for the same price, but they don't know that. Or, I'm considering a 2000+ SSEi, GTP, regal GS, or MAYBE a trans-am. ( I don't like t-tops or convertables though.) Comments? Remember, I am paying for the car totally by myself. I think I'll end up with either the GS or SSEi though due to insurance costs. I simply can't afford that. I only make around $600/month on my part-time job.

So all your money pretty much goes to your car and insurance? I say wait on the car for a couple more years or get a better job.

Get a Mercedes, at least a used one if a new one is too much.

as sick as this may sound, it'* true: your riv is (generally speaking, based on jd power numbers), more reliable than a bimmer would be.

kind of sucks, huh?

another auto industry myth, which checks in the library right next to toyota can do no evil...

yeah, in long term reliability, buick is #2 (overall), while BMW falls into 13th place.
