It looks like I'm in the same boat as most of you guys/gals. I'm 21, and a drive a BUICK! I know everyone that sees me in this rig thinks its my grandpa'*. Well, its not. And grandpa wouldn't do this to his car. One of the best sleepers! I do love the bonnies, just new to the fourm, and gonna finish taking a look around.

Default Bonneville owner'* age

40.
I'm 40.
My 2001 SSEi does low 14'*.
I'm installing an intercooler, HD diff W/3.43 gears, and an air box.
I run a 3.0 DUB system with Gatorbacks and Sunoco 76, 100.
I'm a systems programmer, I have manipulated my EEPROM to provide custom input.
I have a baby seat in the back for my 2 year old. It has a 5 point harness.
We EAT 5.0 Mustangs.

Nice setup! How much KR do you get with that 3.0?

Default who cares about age

I my self am 20, bought a '96 model since it was a great buy for the package and money my dad owns same only a class lower mine is SSE his is SE it doesnt make a difference who drives em cuz you still see old geezers in bemers and benzes and those hondas and maximas so there really is no old man young guy car

Does any one think a stock SSE can beat out a stock maxima in a 0-60 and or 1/4mile?

I Hate to say it but no. A stock Maxima (95 and up) will waste a 5.0 Mustang and keep up with an LT1 Camaro/Firebird. This is especially true if the Maxima has a five-speed. My mom has a 2000 Maxima SE. It has a 3.0 V-6 w/222 hp which is only 18 less than a SSEi and it weighs 500 lbs less than a Bonneville. This year the Maxima'* engine has been upgraded is a 3.5L with 255 hp. Those cars are super fast - NOTHING AGAINST BONNEVILLES - this is just what I experienced, so I would not race them.

Hey, yeah I'm 16 and I have a 95 Bonneville SE. I received it as a gift from my grandpa. He bought it cheap off a guy that had it breakdown on him so he fixed it up, (he'* a retired mechanic) and well then he offered it to me and now i'm in love with it. My parents just bought a 2001 GP GT last year and so I've become a really big fan of Pontiac. What surprised me the most is my car is quicker. There'* a road nearby where a 1/4 mile is marked off and I tested it and for some reason my bonneville (completely stock right now, until i get some more money) ran a faster time.

I drive a LeSabre, and I have actually gotten a nickname because of it. Because my first name is "dan" people now call me "granny dan." Everybody says I drive a granny car, but, it can actually beat about 95% of the cars in my school parking lot. (I'm 17 and love my car )
My brother is 19, and he owns a 92 Bonneville SE
Mom is 44, and owns a 1995 SSE.
