No four speed--but BIG CUBE, Posi-Sideways (and the resulting oversteer), terrified white knuckle ride--yes! (69 GTO, 73 GTO, Buick w/455, Ford Granada with 351 W [transplanted]).

Drop a u-joint--yes!--79 Ford stepside 4X4--full acceleration from stop...Ouch!

No blown trannys though. I've burned a few clutches up on four speed and five speed manuals.

Not bad for a young 35 yr old punk kid!

Hey Allmightyone, you have your stripes! When did you get them? I remember you asking for opinions a while back, but I must have missed the post where you announced that they were done!

it'* nice to see that there are so many yound pople that drive bonnevilles. i get made fun of almost daily by people who say it'* an "old persons" car. it'* usually the civic and sunfire owners which is odd because i can fit 2 bags of golf clubs in the trunk and still beat them in a race. btw i'm 20.

WOW, this post started in 1969, that was a great year! I was 2. SO how old am i? ok for those that arent math majors im 35 (going on 21). I bought my 95 SSEi in 97 for $18,000. The choices were Impala SS, BMW 328 or the bonnneville. All were 2 years old and in around 20 Gs. I am EXTREMELY happy with my choice! I just made my last payment may 1st!
FYI- Everything was stock until 3 months ago, thanks to this (and the other) rockin forum!!!!
