How much of a Redneck are you?

Add up the numer of cylinders you have in all your:
trucks
cars
motorcycles
ATVs
tractors
lawn mowers
weed eaters
chainsaws
power generators
lawn tools
etc...

basically anything you have that has an internal combustion motor.
(If you happen to own a car with a rotary engine, count each rotor as one cylinder.)
We have at our house;
motors-------------------cylinders
2 Chevy trucks------------16
1 Bonnie---------------------6
1 Duster---------------------6
1 Voyager-------------------6
1 Bonnie motor,
(non-working)--------------6
1 Kubota tratctor-----------3
1 Craftsman tractor,
(non-working)--------------2
3 Weed-Eaters,
(1 non-working)-----------3
2 chainsaws---------------2
1 snow blower------------2
1 yard vac/chipper,
(mounts on tractor)--------2
1 outboard motor-----------1
1 portable generator-------2
1 portable water-pump----2
1 tiller------------------------2
all for a grand total of->55 cylinders

beat that...

does other vehicles in the household count?

Whew! I'm glad I'm not that much of one. I may live in the south but I've got yankee blood running through these veins.

Interesting. I was born of a true Texan in Texas, and I only have a total of 7 cylinders. What a disgrace to the family tradition I am!!

ANYTHING with an internal combustion motor, that sits on the property you live on...
Vehicles, lawn mowers, RC cars, those damn weed eater- powered scooters, portable generators, gas-powered compressors...
whatever, as long as it has engine.

(BTW, the compressor cylinders on an air compressor do NOT count, only the drive cylinders.)

And come on people, let's see some numbers!
TWM, you need to buy more stuff..... :P unless you live in an apartment?

SSE14U24ME 06-18-2004 04:23 PM

I have either 16 or 18 total.

Heheh, nope. We live in a 2 bedroom house. Just don't need it, I guess. And after next weekend, I'll be down to 6 cylinders, won't need the lawn mower anymore. Although, before I got married and had a kid, I had...let's see...26 cylinders

'82 Caprice Classic - 8 (with a 350, baby!)
'86 Fiero - 4
'79 Toyota Pickup - 4
'72 Yamaha 650 XS twin - 2
'89 Kawasaki Ninja - 4
'65 (I forget) V-Hull boat - 4

Wow...that's kinda depressing...

SSsuperchargedEi 06-18-2004 05:04 PM

24.... too lazy to list

Damemorder 06-18-2004 06:23 PM

Hmm... I'll have to think for a bit...

the 87.... 6
the 93.... 6
87 GMC van (red)... 8
87 GMC van (blue)... 8
85 C15... 8
83 C15... 8
92 Chevy van... 8
Three of the exact same model weed eater... 3
Monkey wards mower... 1
murray mower... 1
ariens mower... 1
tiller... 1
chainsaws... 3
power washer... 1

Bringing it to 63. I win.
