Ya, 102db'* of growl. Caused by a tweaked GM LS3 engine.

The Bathurst * Edition is the most powerful Vauxhall in the range and will come in a strictly limited supply priced at £44,995 – surely the best 500bhp+ horsepower-per-pound model available. A standard Bathurst edition is also available at £37,995.
The Walkinshaw 122 Supercharger boosts power by 30 per cent, says Vauxhall, but ramps up torque from a frightening 406lb-ft to a staggering 527lb-ft. Vauxhall says the LS3 V8 engine could handle more, but 'driveability and durability' was the priority, with 'survivability' probably an issue too.
The 122 Supercharger also includes a large capacity intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors, a separate cold air intake and Walkinshaw-developed ECU map, while the standard manual gearbox is upgraded with a high-torque capacity clutch.
Vauxhall says power delivery in the * power is 'exceptionally linear', available from low down right up to the redline.
There'* also an optional new Bi-Modal Exhaust, which raises power by up to 10bhp and comes with two noise settings: ‘Street’, with an upper limit of 92dbA, or ‘Optimum’, which releases the LS3 V8’* full 102dbA. The two-and-a-half inch diameter system is manufactured from stainless steel with unique chrome tail-pipe finishers and costs £1600.
