How about the new Taurus SHO!?!

Twin Turbo v6!?! around 360-370 HP! has anyone drove one? sounds amazing.

It's a Taurus. Will never go near it. My personal opinion of the entire Taurus line is fatally damaged by the fact my parents have a 2006 Taurus (which will be sold as soon as the blown coolant line is fixed). I preferred driving my 1996 Corsica over that thing. I just plain hate how it drives, doesn't feel right to me. Just my opinion of it. Don't anyone go taking it to heart or anything.

i know that the taurus's have had lots of problems. all the way up to the 2002ish models. with motor problems, fit and finish but these new ones are on a whole nother level. ive never been much of a ford car fan but wtf! Kudos to Ford for being adventurous.
Ive always wanted a Lincoln Mark VIII with airbags though!

The current Taurus is based on a Volvo designed platform.

Not sure of the pricing.Alot of money for a ford.I love Fords. I had more than a few Taurus', didn't get a chance to own an SHO.Just seems there is alot more in that price range the maybe a better value

When I saw wow twin turbo and almost the same amount of HP as a 2004 GTO, but then I saw the test in Motor Trend and it ran like a 15 second 1/4 mile...

sawgunner 04-01-2010 10:38 AM

i drove one. they are sick when ya make them move but for $46,000 thanks i'll fix my bonnie and buy a spare bonnie just in case

Always be carefull buying a turbocharged engine and with 2 of them be very carefull.
It is much easier to change a supercharger than a turbucharger.
Just my experience.
Have a great day.

That's one wicked whip! If you get a chance...take one out for a spin.

The price is a bit high, but it is a nice car that's competing for the luxury sport sedan market.
