My new toy
This is my new "summer" toy......I know, I prolly could have gotten a SSEi for the price I got this for.....but.....I got this for enough under BB value that I didn't have to pay any down on it!!! A 2003 1.8T GTi.....man this thing rips!!! Already done a couple small mods to it. I "shaved" took off the rear emblems other than the VW emblem, and I also got rid of the DRL'* too!! Soon to be mods include color matching the headlights, front and rear valance!! Also I nead to strip the clear of the lip of the rims and polish and reclear. Go fast mods will not be done and or put on till next spring, then we will have to head to the strip!!!

The jetta'* might be different? I know that my wife'* car 00 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro has only 150hp stock....granted it'* all wheel drive. My GTi has 180hp stock.....wait till I get to next spring.....If I can convince someone to get me a chip for christmas all I will need is an intake, downpipe & new blow off valve and I will easily hit close to if not above 250 hp Then springs and I should be all set for a while!!
