I would be pretty cautious of this. I've seen quite a few high-end cars with similar stories for sale, all of them have been scams. If there was a VIN, I could check.

If it were my father dying and I had to sell my car I wouldn't put $3500 I would put open to offers he's going to need more money then 3500.00
