I like the Cutlass... but you need a Bonneville.

Huh? I never said I was interested in it. I was just showing how clean it was. There is no way in heck I would buy a carburated car.

What nakes you think its carb'd?

crash93ssei 04-25-2007 06:20 PM

What is wrong with a carb?? As long as they are properly tuned, they are great and much cheaper to work on. I myself do prefer fuel injection, but I still like the simplicity of a carb'd vehicle.... only NEED a couple of wires for the dist. and alternator to run. not like todays vehicles that you pretty much need to take electrical engineering classes to figure out. :D

The best part of them is the ease of diagnosis for troubles, not running?? check for spark, then fuel.... no need to get out a multimeter or scantool and spend hours searching for an intermitent bad sensor problem.
