Need kubuntu flash install help!
Ok, well, I have always been really good with computers, I know how to build them, install OSes, repair them, etc etc, I am a guru. BUT When it comes to partitioning, I fail. I can partition before installing a OS, but for some reason when I try to partition with a OS installed already, I seem to screw it up. So I need help partitioning my HDD, as I wanna do a dual boot so I can install Kubuntu on a partition, and leave my XP alone. Help!

when it ask you what drive you want to install to, it gives you a list of options and one of those options is a partioned drive, you can set how big or how little of the drive you want to use for kubuntu.

Excellent. I got it partitioned. Apparently I was doing it wrong the last time. I am on Kubuntu at the time and I really do prefer it over XP once I figure out everything.

Well, I did everything right, reset and went to boot into XP. BLAM! BSOD.
On the other hand, I am wanting to install Flash player on linux. How in the heck do I get to the directory on the desktop where the installation program is? Now when I open the terminal, it defaults to the desktop folder, in where the flash player folder is. How do I get in the folder? This is so confusing.

Have you tried, or does Kubuntu have, Add/Remove?? I installed a flsh player through that last night. Also, go check out the "Absolute beginner" section of http://ubuntuforums.org/ (oops! Posted a link to another forum!! ) Tons of great info there for noobs like us!!
Also, look into Automatix2 installer. Lots of cool programs, utilities, etc in it
