I don't mean to start anything, but doesn't NASCAR stand for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (National being the United States, right?)? WELL, if that is what it stands for, isn't Toyota NOT technically an american car company? So how can they race NASCAR?

NEWBIE question...

do ford'* use ford engines in the stock cars?
do chevy'* use chevy engines in the stock cars?

etc...

so this means toyota could come out ahead with some new technology...

or are all the cars pretty much running the same thing with drivers skills at hand?
